The staff were more than helpful, 1st class and reasonably priced hotel!
The services were very good. The executive queen room was air conditioned and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was large at lower than published rates, all the food was fabulous. Incredible central location very close to the center of the city, the metro, shopping mall and to La Rambla, and many subway lines.

Chic atmosphere, top-class hotel, it has ideal location right by Placa Catalunya, a nice cafeteria and the metro, buses, and taxis. The standard twin room is brand-new and has a safe box and coffee.

Good location.
We found the washing basin was totally blocked, when we told the staff, she replied that they knew this problem already, and will arrange someone to fix it, but we never been informed when check-in. Even the free Wifi service, but sorry it is not available for blackberry. We need hot water for drinking in the night time, but only 1 staff in the reception desk, she can't offer the service for us, we have to get it from a coffee shop in another street. We found the bin was still full in the second night, when we told the staff, she replied whether we forgot to remove 'Do not disturb' ? we explained everything was reset but only bin is still full, then she said they will remind the cleaner. How bad feeling for thees conversation with the staff for these things.

When you come late to the breakfast, the tables are full of dirty dishes from other guests. The staff should clean the tables befor end of breakfast time...
